Campsite rules
- Cancellation & Refund Policy All bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you are unable to attend, you may arrange to have another participant take your place — please notify us in writing so we can update our records.
- Travel Insurance We strongly encourage all participants to purchase travel insurance to protect against unexpected events such as illness, injury, travel delays, or other emergencies.
- Logistics (timeliness & transport) To keep the group on schedule, we have set departure times each day. Please be packed and ready to load at the scheduled time. The group will depart on time, and no refunds will be provided if you miss a departure. Participants must ride in provided vehicles unless otherwise approved (keeps you together + avoids liability).
- Safety Stay with the group in remote/park areas. Follow all National Park / State Park rules (permits, drones, wildlife, etc.). No risky behavior (climbing unsafe areas, off-trail wandering). Hydration & sun safety are mandatory (you don’t want someone going down from heatstroke). All vehicles will carry water; drink it. Sun protection advised (Hats, long sleeves, sun block)
- Photography Etiquette Share shooting spots—be mindful of others’ tripods/lines of sight. No hogging the “prime spot” at arches or overlooks. Theres plenty of Utah to go around! Respect quiet during long exposures/night shoots.
- Respect for the Environment Leave No Trace (pack it in, pack it out). No disturbing cultural sites (petroglyphs, ruins). No off-road driving or damaging fragile desert crust.
- Behavior Respect fellow attendees (no disruptive behavior). Alcohol allowed responsibly but not during shooting sessions. Moab Monsters is a professional-friendly retreat — treat others with courtesy.
- Weather & Flexibility Itinerary subject to change based on weather/conditions. Alternate sites may be substituted without refund.
- Insurance & Liability Travel insurance encouraged. You are responsible for your own gear and personal belongings. Organizers are not liable for injury, loss, or damage.
